In the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, a special prayer for peace in Ukraine is offered

His Holiness Patriarch of Bulgaria, Neophyte and Chief Secretary of the Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church Bishop Gerasim of Melnish prayed at the altar at the Divine Liturgy.
Before the start of the Divine Liturgy, His Holiness Patriarch Neophyte saw in the honest head of Great Martyr Panteleimon. Worship in the church lasted throughout the divine service. The Bulgarian Orthodox Church has more than once been supportive of the UOC – the only canonical structure in Ukraine.
