UOC believers start prayerful standing outside Verkhovna Rada (LIVE)
Several thousand Orthodox believers gathered for a public prayer under the Verkhovna Rada walls as a protest against the possible adoption of anti-church bills.
Orthodox believers are praying so that the deputies will not vote for bills Nos. 4128, 4511 and 5309, reports the "1Kozak.tv" channel.
People continue to gather at the Parliament building, offer prayers, despite the snow and cold.
Police are watching the situation.
As reported, the Parliament intends to adopt bill No. 5309 on possible renaming of the UOC before lunchtime.
