Students from Orthodox seminaries to gather for fellowship, prayer, and discussion on “Ethnicity and Orthodoxy in America."

JORDANVILLE — Holy Trinity Orthodox Seminary in Jordanville, N.Y., will host the upcoming bi-annual Orthodox Inter-Seminary Movement (OISM) retreat from Nov. 14–16. The event is free to attend for seminarians and will bring together students from major Orthodox Christian seminaries across America for three days of fellowship, prayer, lectures, and dialogue.

This semester’s theme, “Ethnicity and Orthodoxy in America,” will address pastoral and missionary challenges related to ethnic identity within the Orthodox Church. Organizers emphasize that OISM continues to serve as a valuable forum for cultivating unity, leadership, and spiritual formation among future clergy.

“OISM has played a positive role in the development of many pastors in the past,” the seminary noted, “and we are committed to continuing our involvement in this beneficial and blessed endeavor.”

More information on the retreat can be found here.
