32nd Russian Orthodox Church Musicians Conference to Be Held in October
The conference will be hosted by St. Vladimir Memorial Church in Jackson, New Jersey.
JACKSON, NJ — The 32nd annual Russian Orthodox Church Musicians Conference will be held this October.
This year's speakers include:
- John Arlievsky: Baritone and Tanglewood Fellow
- Katya Ermolaeva: Musicologist and Prokofiev specialist
- Kurt Sander: Grammy-nominated composer
- Valentina Shatalova: Pianist, vocal coach, conductor, and educator
- Anastasia Shmytova: Soprano, 17th-century Russian liturgy researcher
Registration is now open via the ROCM website.
Archpriest Sergei Ledkovsky has appealed to Orthodox Christians to support the ROCM with a financial contribution:

When St. Vladimir decided to receive Holy Orthodoxy for his people, it was due in a large part due to the chanting which he heard in the temple of the Divine Wisdom in Constantinople.
