ATHENS — Kimberly Guilfoyle officially began her tenure as the 25th U.S. Ambassador to Greece on Nov. 4, 2025, presenting her credentials to President Konstantinos Tassoulas in a formal ceremony at the Presidential Mansion.

Following the presentation in the Hall of Credentials, Tassoulas met privately with Guilfoyle for 45 minutes, the Orthodox Times reported. During their discussion, the new ambassador conveyed greetings from U.S. President Donald Trump and affirmed her dedication to deepening the historic partnership between Greece and the United States.

Guilfoyle, describing herself as a deeply religious person, also expressed her interest in learning more about the Greek Orthodox Church and the spiritual traditions of Greece.

Previously, UOJ reported that Guilfoyle had welcomed Pat. Bartholomew to Washington, D.C. during his visit to the U.S.
